SpokaneTechJobs is a job listing and company directory app for the Spokane tech startup scene, created by Adam Parish to foster a more open and knowledgeable community. The app offers a unique view of the community using a map as the primary view, allowing users to find local tech jobs and learn about companies hiring. It provides a platform for job seekers to create profiles and apply for jobs, and for employers to claim their business listing and post jobs. The app is built using Bubble's no-code web app builder, which gave Parish the confidence to build it quickly and efficiently. The project has received great feedback and community support since its launch, with 20 signups and a handful of new job postings. Parish plans to continue improving the app with features such as a feed of local events and sharing features, using Bubble's powerful point-and-click web editor and cloud hosting platform.
