RydeSplit was built using Bubble's no-code platform, which provided necessary elements, plugins, and integrations to bring the carpooling concept to life. With a background in software development, Calvin Kabanda and his team quickly prototyped their idea, partnering with construction companies before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Post-pandemic, RydeSplit plans to adapt to changing transportation needs, potentially limiting bookings for drivers. The app aims to address congestion and traffic issues while making transportation more accessible and affordable.
