Summary

Prograds is the first and only web application for graduate student progress, enabling grad students, faculty, and program administrators to update information about each student's status and progress in one place. The app has a progress page that shows students' stages, milestones, requirements, funding, employment, events, courses, and what they're working on. Faculty have a dashboard of all the students they supervise or are committee members for, while admins have rollup dashboards of all students, faculty, and funding. Prograds was built using Bubble, a no-code platform that enabled its founder, Fred Cutler, to build a fully-functional web app without writing any code. The app is currently beta testing in some departments at UBC and plans to conquer the market by signing up graduate programs everywhere, eventually translating it into other languages.
