Summary

I built an Excel Dashboard Toolkit that allows users to build stunning dashboards in Excel with a comprehensive set of visualizations and design elements. The toolkit enables customization and provides pre-made visualizations that illustrate complex design concepts. I chose Bubble as the no-code platform because it offers more control than Wordpress or Squarespace, allowing me to build every feature from scratch without coding. My app currently functions mainly as an ecommerce platform but I'm building a more robust system with tutorials and templates to help users structure their data for each visualization. With a background in product management and digital nomading, I discovered no-code tools like Bubble through Ben Tossell at Makerpad and chose it for its granular control over design features. My app has seen milestones such as first sales, covering costs, and small successes, and my future plans include expanding the project with a learning hub, video tutorials, and multi-layer user permissions for teams. The Excel Dashboard Toolkit is designed to improve users' understanding of Excel's design features and provide them with pre-made visualizations that can be easily customized.
