New enhancements to security classifications in Box
Blog post from Box
Many organizations are adopting security classifications using Box Shield to protect sensitive information from accidental leakage, with over 12.5 million files classified in the past 90 days as remote access and collaboration become more prevalent. To enhance this process, Box has introduced three updates to its classification labels: color-coded labels to provide a visual reminder and aid deployment, an updated visual style making labels more prominent and easier to notice, and the ability for users to view classification labels on the Box mobile app, increasing awareness of security policies. These enhancements aim to make employees more effective stewards of sensitive content, thereby reducing risk without hindering productivity.
