My #LifeatBox, as told by a Box Intern

Box's internship program for 2021, conducted in a fully remote setting due to the pandemic, is the largest yet, with 42 interns participating. The program offers students worldwide the chance to contribute significantly to Box's projects, such as the launch of Box Sign and planning for BoxWorks, while fostering personal and professional growth. To accommodate remote work challenges, Box has reimagined its internship structure, emphasizing reduced screen time, casual and open communication, and virtual social events like cooking classes and magic shows to maintain intern engagement and well-being. Interns are encouraged to connect across teams and with Box leaders to expand their networks, supported by tools like Slack and Zoom for seamless interaction. Each intern is paired with a mentor and a buddy to guide them through their experience, ensuring they feel included and supported throughout their internship.
