Muse Spark 1.3 comes to Box AI — and it does the hard work faster
Blog post from Box
Box AI has introduced Muse Spark 1.3 from Meta Superintelligence Labs in beta, reporting that it exceeds a composite of similarly priced models by 13% in accuracy on Box’s Complex Work Eval, which measures agent performance across enterprise documents such as spreadsheets, PDFs, contracts, and presentations. Compared with Muse Spark 1.2, the new model reportedly maintains accuracy while completing comparable work about 42% faster and using roughly one-third fewer tokens. Box highlights improvements in financial services, technology, and energy tasks, including extracting assumptions from image-based tables, applying tax treatments consistently, interpreting best-practice guidance using examples, identifying contradictory requirements, and normalizing partial-period energy data for valid comparisons. The company attributes these results to stronger source discipline, quantitative reasoning, and transparency about assumptions, positioning the model for time-sensitive enterprise analyses, reports, and decision-support materials.
