Summary

Box has launched Box for ServiceNow, a native, ServiceNow-certified application available through the ServiceNow Store that embeds Box content directly into ServiceNow records. The integration provides a Box panel within tickets, cases, contracts, and custom modules, enabling users to browse folders, preview, upload, and share files without leaving ServiceNow, while automatically creating a dedicated Box folder for each record. Files remain stored and governed in Box, preserving policies such as version control, classification, legal holds, retention, and access controls, while ServiceNow continues to manage business processes. Designed for document-intensive functions including IT service management, HR, legal, procurement, and customer support, the application requires no custom connector or middleware and is intended to remain compatible as both platforms evolve. It is available at no extra charge to joint Box and ServiceNow customers with Box Business plans or higher, with installation and configuration handled through a short administrative setup.
