Grok 4 in action: Advanced reasoning meets enterprise challenges | Model Behavior
Blog post from Box
Box’s July 2025 evaluation of xAI’s Grok 4 found that the model can handle enterprise tasks requiring multi-step logic, numerical calculations, qualitative comparison, and detailed contract analysis. In tests involving financial data, Grok 4 calculated gross margins and compared performance accurately, while text-analysis tasks showed it could assess tone, perspective, vocabulary, and likely authorship. It also identified complex contractual provisions, including uncapped liability and profit-sharing clauses, and interpreted relationships among agreement terms. Box suggests these capabilities could support more automated finance, legal, research, and document-analysis workflows, while emphasizing the model’s progress in numerical precision, sequential reasoning, and domain-specific language understanding.
