Enhancing interoperability with Microsoft 365 to transform work

Box is enhancing its integration with Microsoft 365 to offer seamless interoperability, allowing users to transform their work processes through new features. This includes the integration of Box within Microsoft Teams, which will be available from March 31, 2020, enabling users to access and share Box content directly within Teams. Additionally, a new Box add-in for Microsoft Outlook now supports saving email attachments to Box on iOS and Android, complementing existing support on Windows, Mac, and the web. Enhanced security and identity features, such as Box Shield and Azure AD integration, will provide increased security measures, including restricted file printing and downloads from Office 365 editors and one-click SSO setup. Box will extend its support for Microsoft Authenticator for two-factor authentication and plans to integrate Azure Information Protection for enforcing classification labels. Both companies support a global customer base, and the collaboration enables efficient and secure content sharing, leveraging Microsoft tools like Azure Active Directory, Intune, and Microsoft Cloud App Security, with Box being part of Microsoft's Intelligent Security Association.
