The Okta for Good Nonprofit Collaborative, hosted by members of the #ImpactCloud coalition, brought together over thirty nonprofit tech executives, funders, and IT community leaders in Las Vegas to foster collaboration between the tech and nonprofit sectors. The event featured a keynote by Okta CIO Mark Settle, discussions on IT modernization, digital transformation, and security, and insights from NetHope CEO Lauren Woodman on digital transformation in the nonprofit sector. A key focus was understanding the challenges nonprofit IT leaders face, such as replacing legacy tools, budget constraints, change management, and data integrity issues. The #ImpactCloud coalition aims to address these challenges by enhancing community engagement, fostering deeper connections, and developing cross-cloud platform solutions to better support nonprofit IT needs. The coalition plans to continue these efforts through events like BoxWorks and Dreamforce, with the goal of advancing the nonprofit sector's technological capabilities.
