Box, a company that values diversity and inclusion, supports its employees, known as Boxers, through 13 Employee Resource Communities (ERCs), including the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) ERC, which focuses on empowering and inspiring Boxers of API descent. During Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the API ERC organized various events, both in-person and remote, to celebrate and educate about API cultural customs, fostering community engagement and strengthening connections among Boxers. Activities included games, workshops, and food-focused gatherings in different locations like Redwood City, Chicago, New York City, Austin, and San Francisco, culminating in a Fireside Chat with Filipino illustrator Jerilyn Guerrero. These celebrations highlighted the importance of supporting underrepresented communities and building an inclusive environment within the company.
