Build context-aware applications with Box and Vercel
Blog post from Box
Box and Vercel have introduced integrations that bring governed enterprise content, including product requirements, security policies, and technical specifications stored in Box, into application development and AI agent workflows. Through Box’s MCP integration with Vercel fx, coding agents can retrieve approved policies, compare them with local code, identify compliance gaps, make updates, run tests, and generate release evidence packages, while developers retain approval control over content uploads and Box remains the governed repository. Vercel Connect enables developers to build custom agents that securely access and act on Box files and folders for uses such as customer onboarding, document organization, support operations, and knowledge management without moving content or duplicating Box’s permissions model. Together, the integrations aim to let developers use trusted business context throughout development and deployment while preserving existing Box security, governance, and source-of-truth controls.
