Boxers Doing Good Around The World

In late 2019, a team of eleven volunteers from Box.org collaborated with Team4Tech and CARE Cambodia to empower marginalized ethnic minorities in Cambodia's Ratanakiri Province through the Know & Grow Project, which aims to provide access to technology and 21st-century skills. Over four months, including two weeks on the ground, the team engaged with teachers and students, focusing on technology tools like RACHEL servers, Scratch, Makey Makey, Lego WeDo, and Sphero Mini to enhance STEM education. The project successfully impacted over 3,000 teachers and students, boosting their confidence and skills, particularly among girls, by demonstrating that technology can open diverse career paths. The initiative not only fostered technological literacy but also forged strong community bonds and offered the volunteers valuable leadership and teamwork experiences. The project underscored the importance of sharing resources and expertise to create lasting educational impacts, with Team4Tech continuing its commitment to support global learning initiatives during challenging times.
