Box and iWork: real-time collaboration on Pages, Numbers, and Keynote
Blog post from Box
Box, a platform focused on enhancing workplace efficiency and productivity, has announced a new integration with Apple's iWork suite, which includes Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, allowing users to create, preview, and collaborate on files directly within Box. This integration, which follows their previous collaboration with Apple's Files app for iOS 11, aims to streamline real-time collaboration for over 80,000 businesses using Box, by enabling edits and comments on iWork files without needing to download them. Users can create and edit iWork files from Box’s web app, with automatic saving and version control, and can collaborate in real-time on these documents through the iWork apps on iPhone, iPad, or Mac. The integration complements Box's existing compatibility with other major productivity suites like Office365 and G Suite, ensuring secure and efficient management of files and enhancing team collaboration. For enterprise accounts, activating iWork collaboration requires admin settings adjustments in the Box Admin Console.
