Summary

Box for Guidewire is an integration available through the Guidewire Marketplace that connects Box-managed documents, metadata, and AI capabilities with Guidewire’s ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, and BillingCenter workflows. Designed to reduce custom implementation and maintenance work, the updated integration lets adjusters and underwriters view, upload, update, delete, and manage supporting documents directly in the Guidewire interface while Guidewire remains the system of record for claims, policy, and billing operations. When configured with Box AI and Box Extract, it can classify incoming evidence, extract relevant information from materials such as medical records, police reports, loss runs, ACORD forms, and inspection reports, and route extracted data for human review. External parties, including claimants, brokers, repair shops, medical providers, and counsel, can submit documents through governed Box intake paths without direct Guidewire access, with configurable controls for classification, retention, legal holds, access, and audit history. Box cites a major insurer modernizing more than 100 terabytes of content and high-volume mailroom and policy-processing workflows using Box alongside Guidewire, and plans to demonstrate the integration at Guidewire Connections 2026.
