Bland Evals: Evaluate real calls for quality at scale
Blog post from Bland
Evals is a tool designed to automatically analyze and assess the quality of phone calls by evaluating various aspects such as resolution, tone, hallucination, and audio quality, among others. It streamlines the traditionally manual process of reviewing call logs, allowing for efficient evaluation of up to 5,000 calls simultaneously through the use of LLM judges and customizable Eval Agents. These agents can be configured with specific prompts or rubrics to score, label, and explain call attributes, helping to identify trends, catch regressions, and improve call outcomes. Users can create Workbenches to run multiple Eval Agents across selected calls, aggregating scores and analyzing patterns for quality assurance and compliance. The system offers templates for common evaluation criteria, but also provides the flexibility to tailor agents to specific workflows and requirements, ultimately enhancing the performance and reliability of call operations.
