Brightbell Virtual Receptionists, a North Carolina-based company, partnered with Bandwidth during the COVID-19 pandemic to support Wake County's vaccination efforts. In early 2021, Wake County needed assistance handling an influx of calls for scheduling vaccinations. Brightbell assembled a team of over three dozen telephone operators within weeks and collaborated with Bandwidth to manage thousands of calls daily at a quick pace. Bandwidth provided the flexibility and control necessary to handle this surge in traffic while also ensuring existing customers were not impacted. The partnership between Brightbell and Bandwidth played a significant role in helping Wake County lead the state of North Carolina in vaccination efforts, improving citizens' lives across the county.
