Write Your Engineering Standards Once. Check Every AI-Generated PR Against Them.
Blog post from Aviator
Aviator Verify introduces “Invariants,” reusable engineering rules intended to automatically evaluate every pull request, including AI-generated changes, against codebase-specific conventions, architecture boundaries, security requirements, and migration practices that traditional linters may not capture. The platform can draft candidate rules from an organization’s PR history and documentation, but requires team approval before they affect reviews. For each PR, a selector determines which rules apply based on the change, intent, paths, or languages, and a separate agent returns pass-or-fail results with supporting code evidence. Teams can waive rules with documented reasons, allowing exceptions to be tracked and recurring waivers to inform revisions to the standards.
