Turning video into cartoon or anime footage involves either restyling an existing clip or generating a new scene from text, with the first option preserving source motion, camera framing, and much of the original setting while changing its visual appearance. Atlas Cloud’s Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash Video Edit supports video-to-video restyling for MP4 clips of up to 10 seconds through its Generator interface or API, while Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash Text-to-Video creates new anime-style clips, including audio, from descriptive prompts. Effective restyling prompts specify the desired style first and explicitly identify elements such as identity, motion, camera work, background, and audio that should remain unchanged; short, single-shot tests are recommended before higher-resolution renders. The text notes that dialogue and lip synchronization may not survive restyling reliably, so retaining the original audio separately may be necessary.
