HappyHorse 1.1 vs HappyHorse 1.0 : Better Motion, Better Consistency?

Alibaba’s HappyHorse 1.1 is presented as a production-focused upgrade to HappyHorse 1.0, improving motion smoothness, temporal consistency, multi-reference control, long-prompt comprehension, facial realism, and native audio synchronization. While version 1.0 remains suitable for visually appealing cinematic shots and simple atmospheric content, version 1.1 is intended for more demanding uses such as action sequences, multi-shot advertisements, short dramas, product videos, and multi-character dialogue scenes. It supports reference-to-video generation with up to nine images, aiming to preserve character, product, and brand details more reliably, while also handling prompts spanning roughly six to eight connected scenes. The model reportedly produces more natural close-up facial textures and dialogue pacing, and is expected to cost ¥0.9–¥1.2 per second in China or $0.14–$0.18 per second internationally, with an introductory discount.
