What’s new in Apollo GraphOS
Blog post from Apollo
Apollo GraphOS has introduced several powerful features and improvements to enhance developer experience, boost performance, and improve security. The new Apollo Connectors for REST APIs simplify the integration of REST APIs into a federated GraphQL environment, allowing developers to easily map endpoints to their GraphQL schema using a declarative syntax. Custom schema checks enable organizations to integrate their own business logic and governance rules into Apollo's existing schema check workflow, ensuring that every schema change adheres to company-specific standards. Local workflow enhancements include improved Rover command-line interface for GraphOS with parallel and asynchronous execution of commands, subgraph mirroring, and support for Apollo Connectors. Additionally, the Apollo Router has received performance and stability improvements through a new native query planner, entity caching with invalidation API, and demand control features. The platform also includes clearer policy for Router versioning and support.
