Claude, an advanced AI tool, is now available to all three branches of the U.S. government, including federal civilian executive branch agencies, legislative, and judiciary branches, for just $1, in an effort to remove cost barriers and enhance AI adoption for public service. The initiative, facilitated through a partnership with the General Services Administration, allows government agencies to access both Claude for Enterprise and Claude for Government, which supports FedRAMP High workloads for handling sensitive unclassified data. This expanded access aims to empower federal workers to leverage AI for improved productivity and mission effectiveness, with support for seamless integration into existing workflows. Claude is already being utilized in critical areas such as national security, scientific research, and public health, meeting stringent security standards and offering continuous updates.
