Microsoft has announced the availability of Claude models in Microsoft 365 Copilot, allowing millions of enterprise users to access these AI models through the productivity platform. The addition of Claude Sonnet 4 and Opus 4.1 models provides organizations with greater flexibility to choose the right AI for their specific business needs, and they can be used in Microsoft's Researcher agent and Copilot Studio. With this launch, users can select Claude as their preferred model to power in-depth work, such as building detailed strategies or analyzing product trends, and also build and customize enterprise-grade agents using Claude models. The rollout of Claude in Researcher is happening through Microsoft's Frontier Program for licensed customers who opt-in, and organizations can enable access to Anthropic models in the Microsoft 365 admin center. This integration brings industry-leading AI innovation to Microsoft 365 Copilot, tailored to meet the specific needs of businesses, and users can expect additional Claude experiences within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem in the future.
