Claude Code on the web

Claude Code on the web is a new beta feature that allows users to delegate coding tasks directly from their browser, utilizing Anthropic-managed cloud infrastructure for parallel task execution. This tool enables users to manage coding sessions without needing to open a terminal by connecting GitHub repositories and letting Claude implement the specified tasks, providing real-time progress tracking, and allowing adjustments during task execution. It supports multiple workflows, including bug fixes, backend changes, and test-driven development, and is accessible on mobile via an iOS app. Each task operates within a secure, isolated sandbox environment to protect code and credentials, with Git interactions managed through a secure proxy service. Claude Code is currently available in a research preview for Pro and Max users, allowing them to explore cloud-based coding through claude.com/code.
