Anthropic and Teach For All launch global AI training initiative for educators
Blog post from Anthropic
Anthropic has partnered with Teach For All to launch the AI Literacy & Creator Collective (LCC), an initiative aimed at empowering over 100,000 educators across 63 countries to develop AI fluency and tailor AI tools like Claude for classroom use. The project emphasizes collaboration, allowing teachers to provide feedback and shape AI development, thereby equipping them to create educational tools and curricula suited to their students' needs. This approach has already seen success, with educators in diverse regions such as Liberia and Bangladesh developing interactive learning tools. The initiative features a three-part program: the AI Fluency Learning Series, Claude Connect, and Claude Lab, each designed to enhance educators' AI skills and foster a community of shared learning. This partnership builds on Anthropic's previous educational efforts, including AI education pilots in Iceland and Rwanda, and underscores the commitment to making AI resources accessible to under-resourced schools, enabling teachers to lead in the evolving educational landscape.
