Telepresence 2.19.0 Release: Enhanced Customization and Integration
Blog post from Ambassador
The new Telepresence 2.19.0 release offers enhanced customization and integration features for developers. Users can now fully control their system tray, including toggling the Telepresence icon and configuring Kubernetes contexts. Additionally, a new flag enables DNS response translation and local use of virtual IPs, addressing routing and collision issues in VPN. The update also allows independent agent configuration with full flexibility for specifying registry, name, and tag. These improvements provide better visibility into Telepresence setup and configuration, simplifying developer collaboration and bridging the gap between local and remote Kubernetes development environments.
