REG/TAF Fee Updates with Alpaca

The Alpaca platform has made changes to its REG/TAF fee calculation method for all customers, effective April 26, 2021. The new "Daily-consolidated" approach aims to provide greater clarity and transparency in fee calculations. This change was made after a thorough analysis of the company's internal accounting methods and bookkeeping model, following customer feedback that highlighted issues with the previous "Per-transaction" method. As a result, customers will see fewer charges due to skipped unnecessary roundups. The updated account activity records on both the dashboard and API should provide clearer insight into REG/TAF fees assessed on sales transactions.
