Building a query suggestion UX like Google's

Algolia released several features in 2023, including query suggestions in February, which uses analytics data to provide dynamic search suggestions. This feature allows users to easily implement a user experience similar to Google's autocomplete dropdown. Personalized saved searches can be used to create a highly personalized search experience, with a recommended ratio of 1:5 for saved to suggested searches. The query suggestions feature can be used as a template for how to do this, and Algolia provides a secured API keys feature for enhanced history containerization and security. Additionally, Algolia released an automated personalization feature that allows users to return individualized search results based on past actions, with configurable event weights and scoring. This feature is available for Enterprise customers only.
