In the first quarter of 2023, Aiven released several updates to its products and services. These include the General Availability of Aiven for Apache Flink®, a fully managed Flink SQL service that enables real-time data processing. Additionally, new organizational concepts were introduced, allowing users to manage users, authentication, and billing settings more easily. PostgreSQL® version 15 was also supported, offering improved performance and efficiency. Klaw, an open source Apache Kafka® governance tool, saw two new releases with key features such as a redesigned React UI and support for authorization from OAuth2 providers/Active Directory. The Aiven Console received a new home screen that provides quick access to projects and services, while Github authentication was added for easier sign-up and authentication. A graphical migration wizard for MySQL was introduced, making data migration simpler, and ClickHouse® integrations can now be managed directly in the Aiven Console.
