Aiven has announced the general availability of its managed service for Apache Flink, enabling real-time data processing when used with Apache Kafka to create a robust event streaming infrastructure. In February, Aiven introduced a new organizational concept for managing users, authentication, and billing settings, and enhanced its PostgreSQL service with version 15, offering improved capabilities and performance. The open-source Apache Kafka governance tool, Klaw, saw new releases with features like a redesigned UI and OAuth2 support. Aiven also revamped its Console home screen for better project and service management, introduced GitHub authentication, launched a migration wizard for MySQL, and simplified ClickHouse integrations with a new graphical interface.
