Blog post from Aiven
Aiven is set to release M3 as a managed, distributed time-series database-as-a-service. The first version will include basic features with advanced functionalities like cross-cluster replication support added incrementally. M3 was developed by Uber to handle their internal workload and is designed for scalability and efficiency. It integrates out of the box with Prometheus, Graphite, and Grafana for metrics and data visualization. Uses include alerting, monitoring, tracking business metrics, capacity planning, load balancing, and more.
