Summary

Aiven has released an open source connector that enables streaming Kafka data to Google Cloud Storage (GCS). The Aiven GCS Kafka Sink Connector allows users to move data from their Kafka clusters to GCS. As it is open source, the connector can be used regardless of whether users host and manage Kafka themselves or choose a service provider. This release follows the launch of an Amazon S3 sink connector, with more connectors planned in the future based on customer feedback.
