Summary

Airwallex’s July releases introduce Airi, a consumer wallet designed to enable one-click checkout across its merchant network without added fees, alongside updates to business accounts, payments, and spend management. The company launched AgentOS, allowing finance teams to operate Airwallex through AI agents such as Claude and Cursor, added automated multi-currency DATEV transaction syncing for customers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and expanded Malaysian capabilities with global accounts, multi-currency wallets, FX, transfers, and card issuing. Payment updates include more than 80 local methods for Shopify, Hyvä checkout support for Magento, direct US Visa and Mastercard processing through Cross River Bank, CAD and NZD bank-transfer checkout options, and new Swish and Bizum payment methods for Swedish and Spanish customers. Spend enhancements let cardholders manage transaction disputes, provide centralized card management across organizational accounts, record expense attendees for accounting and compliance, and integrate bill, expense, and reimbursement workflows with NetSuite, Campfire, Rillet, and external systems through the Spend API.
