New at Airwallex: February Edition
Blog post from Airwallex
Airwallex has introduced updates aimed at improving financial visibility, expense compliance, local payment experiences, platform payouts, and API security. Business account users can access a Balance Snapshot Report for consolidated end-of-day balances across accounts and currencies, use the WebApp in Mexican Spanish, French, Japanese, or Korean, and manage additional organisation owners through an approval workflow. Payment enhancements add PayMe for Hong Kong businesses, including Shopify support, and iDEAL for Magento merchants serving Dutch customers. Spend tools now include an Expense Policy Agent that automatically reviews reimbursement claims for policy issues and duplicates, alongside late-submission policies that can send follow-ups and freeze cards until overdue expenses are filed. Platforms can make direct seller payouts from platform ledger accounts to external bank accounts through one API call, while developers can restrict API key usage with WebApp-managed IP whitelists supporting CIDR notation and bulk IP entry.
