June release notes: US payment acceptance updates, transparent transfers and Hong Kong B2B travel cards
Blog post from Airwallex
Airwallex has introduced several product updates aimed at improving payment acceptance, transfers, account administration, and travel-sector card offerings. U.S. entities can now self-onboard for payment acceptance through the web app, receive card-payment settlements as soon as the next business day, process more than 60 currencies including MXN and AED, and onboard travel merchants such as ticketing and hotel-booking businesses. Transfer enhancements add clearer “SENT” and “PAID” status indicators and simplify domestic transfer creation by reducing recipient information requirements outside the United States and Canada. Australian customers can now make real-time, 24/7 local transfers through the New Payments Platform using PayID details. Airwallex also plans to support multiple verified account owners to reduce approval bottlenecks and ownership-transfer risks, while Hong Kong online travel agencies can access B2B Travel Cards with rebates for eligible bookings and future interchange-setting capabilities, with expansion to Singapore anticipated.
