February release notes: enhanced SWIFT and ACH payments, improved dispute management, and expanded local transfer capabilities
Blog post from Airwallex
Airwallex has introduced updates across its business accounts, payment tools, spend management, and embedded-finance APIs to improve payment speed, flexibility, visibility, and cost efficiency. Expanded local transfer capabilities include instant or faster payment options in Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Pakistan, the United States through FedNow, and South Africa, while new Netherlands EUR Global Accounts support EUR collection and SEPA Core Direct Debit payouts. Global Entity Management is now available to Xero customers, enabling centralized approval policies, reporting, user management, and integration oversight across multiple entities. Payment enhancements include upgraded dispute-management guidance and notifications, automated card-detail updates to reduce recurring payment failures, broader saved-card use for one-off and recurring purchases, and improved migration of recurring payments from other providers. Upcoming PayPal multi-currency settlement and Venmo support for US merchants aim to simplify checkout and reduce foreign-exchange and operational costs. API updates add real-time physical-card delivery tracking and webhooks, support intermediary bank SWIFT codes, and introduce lower-cost Next Day ACH transfers for USD payments.
