December release notes: Introducing Global Entity Management, streamlined payouts, and smarter payment insights
Blog post from Airwallex
The release introduces updates across payments, spend management, and embedded finance, including an enhanced Payments dashboard with clearer analytics, grouped decline reasons, and dedicated Risk and Disputes insights. AI-powered checks for Local Payment Method onboarding automate website requirement validation and simplify reapplications, while Visa and Mastercard are now available for New Zealand entities, with American Express planned next. NetSuite customers can use Global Entity Management to centrally oversee multi-entity spending, approvals, users, integrations, balances, payments, and reports, alongside support for importing single-select custom fields and segments to improve expense coding and month-end reconciliation. Other usability improvements include expense-description search, bulk bill resyncing, and self-service replacement requests for lost, stolen, or compromised virtual and physical cards. Airwallex also plans to launch Ledger accounts for marketplace payouts, allowing marketplaces to manage seller balances and payouts in more than 150 countries with lighter seller screening, multi-currency ledgering, risk controls, and a remittance-based funds ownership model.
