April release notes: Instant B2B transfers with Airwallex Pay, smarter FX planning, and new local payment methods

Airwallex has introduced updates across business accounts, spend management, payments, and platform APIs, including Airwallex Pay for instant low-cost transfers among more than 150,000 network businesses and scheduled FX conversions that allow customers to lock rates up to 90 days ahead with a 5–10% prepayment. Spend workflows now support multi-condition approvals across entities and regions, while card expense tools offer transaction itemisation and AI-powered receipt data extraction. Payment enhancements include beta support for local methods such as Venmo, Cash App Pay, PIX, TWINT, and bank transfer checkout instructions, alongside Card Account Updater, Shopify Shop Pay availability in selected countries, and Xero invoice payments in New Zealand. Other releases include country-specific European Global Accounts, automatic vendor remittance advice, Canadian Regular EFT transfers through the Payouts API, expanded Connected Account Console capabilities, and a Settlement Record API for direct access to merchant settlement data.
