TECH UPDATE: Heads-up for developers re: Secondary Index Related Changes in 5.7
Blog post from Aerospike
Aerospike 5.7, set to be released soon, introduces the first milestone of a rewrite of Secondary Indexes. This update includes indexes that are 60% more memory efficient and faster queries. Additionally, it features an improved garbage collection system. Developers should take note of changes in the format of sindex-list:ns=test info calls and several modifications or deletions to configuration parameters. Furthermore, some statistics related to namespace, global, and sindex contexts have been altered due to the new garbage collection system.
