Aerospike 4.6, released in August 2019, enhances enterprise-grade security and developer functionality for hyperscale data-intensive applications. The new release supports multiple important security features such as LDAP, TLS 1.2, RBAC system, granular audit trails, Kerberos Network Authentication Protocol, Whitelisting, and Write-Only roles. These enhancements enable fine-grained security models in highly secure organizations. Additionally, Aerospike 4.6 introduces new developer features like nested complex data types and bitwise operations to support more sophisticated complex data models for applications requiring performance at hyperscale.
