Power BI Lineage: General Availability — ADOC 26.3.0

Power BI's integration with ADOC 26.3.0 introduces new end-to-end lineage capabilities aimed at addressing challenges faced by enterprise data teams, such as lack of cross-platform lineage and invisible change impacts. This release, now in General Availability, includes the Power BI Crawler and Lineage capability, offering validated connector coverage and column-level traceability across the Power BI artifact hierarchy. With this upgrade, data teams gain a comprehensive view of data flow from source tables to executive dashboards, enabling real-time impact analysis and quality score propagation. The lineage validation encompasses all layers of the Power BI model, allowing for detailed tracking of data changes down to individual columns in Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift. Additionally, enterprise-scale controls are supported, providing regex-based filtering, schema-level filtering, and configurable crawler schedules to accommodate large, complex Power BI estates. This integration requires Data Plane v4.6.0, and existing data sources must be re-crawled to ensure accurate lineage fidelity.
