Summary

Acceldata’s latest Open Data Platform releases aim to help organizations modernize Hadoop and lakehouse environments without requiring all workloads to migrate on the same schedule. ODP 3.3.6.5-1 introduces Kafka 4.3.0, Hive 4.1.0, Apache Iceberg V3 support, expanded Apache Ranger governance for cloud storage and Kafka, Hue integration with Trino, and operational improvements for Ozone, Ambari, and Mpack upgrades. For established 3.2.3 deployments, ODP 3.2.3.7-2 for Python 2 and 3.2.3.7-3 for Python 3 add Hive 4.0.1, Iceberg 1.6.1 support across Hive, Impala, Spark, and Trino, NiFi Registry high availability, more granular Ranger permissions, expanded service upgrade support, enhanced Ambari administration, NiFi checksum validation for Google Cloud Storage, and a modernized Zeppelin interface. Across the releases, more than 6,000 CVE fixes strengthen platform security, while flexible on-premises, cloud, hybrid, Kubernetes, in-place, sidecar, and forklift migration options are intended to let teams preserve existing investments while adopting newer streaming, governance, analytics, and open-table capabilities.
