Apache Kyuubi Integration: Now Generally Available in ADOC 26.10.0
Blog post from Acceldata
Acceldata Data Observability Cloud (ADOC) 26.10.0 introduces an Apache Kyuubi integration that enables profiling, data quality monitoring, sampling, and reconciliation checks to run directly within private-cloud lakehouse environments. Designed for large, multi-tenant deployments where data is accessed through Kyuubi gateways using engines such as Spark, Flink, and Trino, the integration addresses challenges around data inventory, schema changes, quality visibility, and secure access to object-storage-based lakehouses. ADOC uses pushdown execution exclusively, sending queries through Kyuubi while keeping underlying data within the customer’s cluster and returning only metadata and metrics under existing OAuth, authorization, and governance controls. Organizations can connect through JDBC using Keycloak OAuth2 or username-password authentication, crawl selected databases into a shared catalog, establish quality policies and reconciliation checks, and route alerts through centralized notification channels, allowing teams to monitor Kyuubi, cloud warehouse, and lakehouse sources through consistent policies.
