Vantage has introduced enhanced customization options for its Dashboards, allowing users greater flexibility in organizing and configuring their data displays. Users can now reorder, rename, and delete widgets directly from the Dashboard, as well as toggle between chart and table views, providing a more tailored and actionable view of cloud spend and usage. This update addresses the growing demand for customizable Dashboards, which historically featured widgets arranged alphabetically, by enabling users to align them with specific organizational needs. Available at no additional cost, these features can be accessed by users with roles such as Owner, Team Owner, or Team Editor, who can modify existing Dashboards or create new ones. The customization options do not extend to the Overview Dashboard at this time, and programmatic customization via the Vantage API is possible, with Terraform support forthcoming.

Vantage has introduced Hierarchical Budgets, a feature that allows organizations to map their budgeted costs to their structure by defining parent-child relationships between budgets. This new capability enables users to consolidate multiple budgets automatically, reflecting changes in connected child budgets within the parent budget, thus facilitating comprehensive financial oversight and streamlined reporting. The feature supports both new and existing budgets and allows for the creation of multi-level hierarchies, enabling finer-grained control over financial planning and analysis. Available at no additional cost to all Vantage customers, Hierarchical Budgets can be managed through the Vantage interface and via CSV files, with future support planned for API and Terraform usage.
