Channels are a way to filter which messages are sent to which endpoint, allowing for more precise control over message delivery. You can now create environments in different geographical regions, allowing you to use the closest region for your needs or within a specific compliance region such as the EU and GDPR. This feature enables users to import and export environment settings from/to JSON, facilitating workflows like cloning environments, maintaining configuration in source control, and more. Creating multiple environments in various regions is done through the dashboard, with each environment's region being fixed once created. The new feature also includes importing and exporting environment settings for easier cloning or syncing of staging and production environments, as well as saving settings in version control to track changes. With this update, Svix continues to expand its capabilities, inviting users to share their suggestions on what's next.
