January 2023 Summaries

Supabase closed 2022 with Launch Week 6 and a series of announcements. They introduced new features such as Image resizing, Smart CDN, Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), Supabase Wrappers for Postgres FDW framework, and The Vault in Beta. Additionally, they released Custom Domains and Point-in-Time Recovery features. Community Day highlighted the growth of Supabase's community with various projects and integrations. They also contributed to the Postgres ecosystem with releases like pg_graphql v1.0, PostgREST 11 pre-release, and more.

We are excited to announce the winners of our Supabase Launch Week 6 Hackathon! The event saw an exciting array of projects from participants around the world, including Depulso, a CLI and web app for setting up static site deployments, HTTP Sense, a reverse proxy and network monitoring tool, and supaquiz, a multiplayer trivia/quiz game. Our winners were announced in various categories, with Depulso taking home the Best Overall Project award, while Vista took top honors in the Best Edge Functions category with its video transcoder that adds subtitles from the audio. The winners will receive exclusive limited edition swag kits and will be celebrated on our Discord Stage Channel, where they can hang out and share their experiences with fellow participants.
