Organizations are moving towards operationalizing historical data from data lakes and real-time data from messaging streams in a single data platform using a SQL interface, which enables the achievement of digital transformation. The journey involves embracing agility, adopting new topologies for messaging semantics that support exactly-once, real-time data processing, and leveraging machine learning to simulate intelligence and create specific recommendations.
