RWX has introduced zero-configuration OpenTelemetry tracing for CI/CD pipelines to help teams identify gradual performance regressions that may be difficult to detect from individual runs alone. The feature sends portable trace data to any compatible observability backend, allowing organizations to compare task durations across historical pipeline runs, determine when slowdowns began, and correlate CI/CD behavior with other observability data. Users only need to provide their observability platform credentials, with no RWX configuration changes or additional installations required.

RWX recently introduced several product enhancements developed using its own platform, including a native container image-building capability designed to avoid common Dockerfile and BuildKit complexities while allowing each build step to be used as a container image. The company also expanded its CLI development workflow so users can test CI/CD definition changes and local modifications across any file in a Git repository without committing or pushing first, supporting more iterative development and debugging. In addition, RWX now exports run data through OpenTelemetry to Honeycomb for deeper CI/CD performance visibility, with standards-based support intended to enable future integrations with other observability backends.
