The label "sessions" was chosen for its simplicity, but it's been deemed bland by users who refer to saved code projects as "Repls". To address this, the term "Session" will be replaced with "Repl", and individual projects will be referred to as "Repls" in the user interface. The change aims to better reflect the core functionality of Repl.it, which is creating and managing code repositories, or "Repls".

Kotlin, a modern programming language developed by JetBrains, has been announced to have native support on Android devices. A Kotlin REPL (Read-Eval-Print Loop) has also been made available for users to experiment with the language. The beta version of the REPL is currently being tested and users are invited to report any bugs they encounter.
